Shakespeare Font
Over the past couple of weeks I have completely re-drawn the design for the Shakespeare font and I have been converting the design into a working font using a programme called Type 3.2. I have increased the overall width and weight of the glyphs and I have also designed a set of numerals and punctuation.
I designed this typeface for a Shakespeare app that will act as a guide to the works of Shakespeare, it will include lots of images, a map of the locations in which it each play was set, character lists, quotes and summaries. Making the type design into a working font will make it much easier and quicker to layout text throughout the app.
Cambridge Design and Construction Awards
I have also designed a poster and table flyer for two separate events for this years Cambridge Design and Construction Awards. I developed on the use of diagonals from last year but altered a few things like the colour to make it unique from the previous design.
Starfruit
Last month I designed a logo for a upcoming social media/marketing company called ‘Starfruit‘.
Printed Tea Towels!
I will be arranging a couple of printed tea towels of the Biscuits illustrations from my British Biscuits Poster design. I should have quite a few spare so let me know if you are interested in buying one.
I am currently working on a website redesign and then I am off to New York later this month so the next post won’t be til April, see you then!
